May 10, 2015 - Chris Madden, of Gray Court, South Carolina, made a late decision to drop into Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday evening, May 9 for a Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series tilt. Driving the Crowder Racing #6 BWRC entry once again, Chris qualified ninth quickest in time trials, which locked him into the inside of the fifth row for the start of the $4,000 to win main event. During the course of the 40-lapper, "Smokey" moved past four competitors en route to a solid fifth place showing behind only winner Chris Ferguson, Josh Langley, Ross Bailes, and Ben Watkins. MADDEN RUNNER-UP AT BAD FAST TAZ!
May 3, 2015 - Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series point leader Chris Madden and his CMR team rolled into Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee and Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, Tennessee on May 1-2 for two more pivotal series point battles. On Friday night at Cleveland, Chris piloted the Crowder Racing #6 BWRC in the $4,000 to win special. The Gray Court, South Carolina star won his consolation race prior to finishing fifth in the caution-free 40-lap main event. At the checkers, Chris trailed only winner Randy Weaver, Derek Ellis, Dale McDowell, and Mack McCarter.
At the bad-fast "Taz" on Saturday evening, a $6,000 top prize was on the line in another Spring Nationals shootout. Chris, who was back behind the wheel of his familiar #44 Sweet-Bloomquist ride, once again won his B-Main to earn the fifth starting spot in the 50-lap headliner. PAIR OF TOP FIVES FOR #44 TEAM IN MARYVILLE
April 26, 2015 - Chris Madden and his #44 CMR team invaded Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on April 24-25 for a pair of special events. On Friday night in a Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) contest, Chris finished second in his B-Main to earn the thirteenth starting spot in the $5,000 to win feature event. The Gray Court, South Carolina star then passed eight competitors during the 40-lapper to score a hard-fought fifth place performance behind only winner Randy Weaver, Dale McDowell, Mike Marlar, and Casey Roberts.
The Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals tour then presided over Saturday's showdown at SMS and a $6,000 payday was on the line. Chris unfortunately suffered a flat tire during qualifying, but later battled up to fifth in his consolation event. During the course of the 50-lap headliner, "Smokey" worked his way past eight more racecars en route to another fifth place outing behind only victor Casey Roberts, Jimmy Owens, Dale McDowell, and Mike Marlar. MADDEN FIFTH IN KING OF THE COMMONWEALTH
April 12, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) headed to the state-of-the-art Virginia Motor Speedway in Jamaica, Virginia on Saturday evening, April 11 for the annual running of the 'Aaron's King of the Commonwealth.' The Ultimate Super Late Model Series sanctioned the one-day extravaganza at VMS, which boasted a whopping $20,000 top prize. Chris Madden clicked off the second fastest lap in his group during the qualifying session and later finished second in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the third row in the 60-lap headliner, Chris wound up finishing right where he started... in the fifth position. "Smokey" trailed only winner Randy Weaver, Jonathan Davenport, Scott Bloomquist, and Gregg Satterlee at the checkers. CMR DROPS INTO THE GAP FOR CLASH EVENT
April 5, 2015 - After a couple of Old Man's Garage Spring Nationals Series rain-outs in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, Chris Madden Racing (CMR) dropped into the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on Saturday evening, April 4. The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series presided over a $4,000 to win event last night at "The Gap." Chris Madden qualified third quickest overall, which locked him directly into the inside of the second row for the start of the 40-lap main event. The Gray Court, South Carolina star was in the second spot and pressuring for the lead when he retired with mechanical woes under a lap 28 caution period. March 30, 2015 - Following the loss of his grandmother, Chris Madden arrived late to Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday, March 29 to compete in the rain-postponed 'March Madness' event. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) sanctioned the one-day program and a $7,500 payday was on the line. Chris won his consolation race to earn the outside sixth row starting spot in the 60-lap headliner. Unfortunately, "Smokey" was caught up in a wreck during 'March Madness' and retired from the race in the sixteenth position. CMR ON PODIUM IN SKYLER TRULL MEMORIAL
March 22, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) made the rare trip to Carolina Speedway in Gastonia, North Carolina on Saturday evening, March 21 for the annual running of the 'Skyler Trull Memorial.' The Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series presided over the one-day affair, which carried a $5,000 winner's check. Chris Madden posted the fourth quickest lap during the qualifying session, which locked him into the outside of the second row for the start of the 40-lap main event. March 9, 2015 - Chris Madden and his #44 CMR team returned to racing action on March 7-8 in the annual running of the 'Bama Bash' at the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama. The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) presided over the rain-postponed event, which carried a $6,000 winner's check. On Saturday, Chris laid down the fastest lap of the 21 entrants during SAS qualifying and later scored the heat race triumph. After rolling off from the pole position in Sunday's 50-lap headliner, Chris ran second early in the distance before eventually nabbing a fourth place performance behind only winner Randy Weaver, Riley Hickman, and Todd Morrow. SUPER BOWL OF RACING RESULTS...
February 7, 2015 - The 'Super Bowl of Racing' finale was held tonight at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia and Chris Madden had his sights set on the $10,000 payday. Chris unfortunately could not make his way into the 50-lap main event after timing in eleventh fastest in Group B during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series qualifying and finishing sixth in his heat race and eighth in his B-Main.
February 6, 2015 - Night two of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' took place tonight at Golden Isles Speedway and a $10,000 top prize was on the line for the cars and stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Chris Madden clicked off the eighth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying and later placed fifth in his loaded heat race. After taking the win in his B-Main, Chris started the 50-lap main event from the inside of the ninth row. The Gray Court, South Carolina standout then rallied past eleven competitors during the 50-lap televised race en route to a strong sixth place performance behind only winner Earl Pearson, Jr., Jared Landers, Scott Bloomquist, Donald McIntosh, and Stormy Scott.
February 5, 2015 - The annual running of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' kicked off tonight at Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia with the inaugural 'Edwin Coggins Memorial.' The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series opener was a non-points event and carried a $7,000 winner's check. Chris Madden qualified fourth quickest in Group A during the time trial session, but later suffered a flat left rear tire early in his heat race. Following a fifth place effort in his B-Main, Chris was awarded the final starting spot in the 30-lap headliner. "Smokey" then slowed to bring out a lap 10 caution during the rough and tumble race and eventually retired in the twentieth position in his season lid lifter.
