CMR TO OPEN UP '12 SEASON IN GEORGIA!

January 17, 2012 - Chris Madden, of Gray Court, South Carolina, revealed today his first two events of the rapidly approaching 2012 racing season. On February 11 and 12, Chris will head south to the state of Georgia to compete in a pair of $10,000 to win, unsanctioned programs. Saturday's show will be held at the Waycross Motor Speedway in Waycross, Georgia, while the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia will play host to Sunday's event. MADDEN RUNNER-UP IN SEASON FINALE!

November 21, 2011 - The Chris Madden Racing (CMR) team wrapped up their version of the 2011 racing season on Sunday, November 20 at the nearby Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. The 21st edition of the 'Blue/Gray 100' was held at the renowned speedplant yesterday and a $10,000 top prize was on the line in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series-sanctioned program. Chris Madden was strong during preliminary action at Cherokee and later had a great run in his season finale. The driver known as "Smokey" moved all the way up to second in the 100-lapper to finish behind only winner Jonathan Davenport. MECHANICAL GREMLINS STRIKE IN NATIONAL 100

November 14, 2011 - Chris Madden and his #44 team headed to the East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on November 12-13 for the 37th Annual 'National 100.' During preliminary action on Saturday, Chris finished third in his heat race to earn a coveted transfer spot into the 100-lapper on Sunday. After rolling off from the outside of the fourth row in the $20,000 to win 'National 100,' Chris climbed inside of the top five before unfortunately losing a motor on lap 35. MADDEN RETURNS TO ACTION IN WORLD FINALS!

November 7, 2011 - The Chris Madden Racing (CMR) team returned to Dirt Late Model competition from November 3-5 at the immaculate Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The 5th Annual 'Lowes Foods World Finals' took place over the weekend at the 4/10-mile speedplant and a pair of $10,000 top prizes were on the line. On Thursday night during World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying, Chris Madden timed in seventeenth fastest for Friday's show and twenty-ninth quickest for Saturday's program.

When Friday rolled around, Chris won his heat race and later started third on the grid in the 50-lap feature event. "Smokey" hung around the top of the leader board throughout night one of the 'World Finals' and eventually crossed underneath the checkers in the fourth position behind only winner Jonathan Davenport, Steve Shaver, and Dale McDowell. In front of a jammed-packed grandstand and the SPEED Channel cameras on Saturday, Chris ran fourth in his heat race and second in his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the twelfth row in the 50-lapper, the Gray Court, South Carolina native was able to improve five spots to finish in the nineteenth position.
