CHRIS MADDEN STARS IN LUCAS OIL DOUBLEHEADER
March 8, 2010 - The Chris Madden Racing (CMR) team starred in a pair of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series events over the March 6-7 weekend in the states of Tennessee and South Carolina! On Saturday night, the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee played host to the annual running of the 'Spring Thaw.' Chris Madden won his heat race and started the 60-lap feature event from the outside of the front row. After leading the first 35 circuits of the $10,000 to win affair, Chris settled for a strong runner-up performance behind winner Ray Cook.
The dirt-slinging competition quickly turned to the nearby Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Sunday afternoon for another $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series show. "Smokey" once again won his competitive heat race to earn the outside second row starting position in the 50-lap main event. Chris led the 'March Madness' race on a couple of different occasions before eventually winding up in the fifth spot behind winner Scott Bloomquist, Dale McDowell, Randy Weaver, and Don O'Neal. 39TH ANNUAL DIRTCAR NATIONALS RESULTS
February 8-13, 2010February 13, 2010 - Chris Madden wrapped up his version of "Speedweeks 2010" tonight at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida! The World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned a $10,000 to win event tonight at VSP. Chris timed in thirtieth fastest in qualifying and later finished fourth and second in his heat race and B-Main respectively. After starting twenty-fourth on the grid in the 50-lap feature event, Chris retired his #44 entry in the twenty-fifth finishing spot.
February 12, 2010 - Night five of the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' scheduled for tonight at the Volusia Speedway Park was unfortunately rained-out. "Speedweeks 2010" will wrap up on Saturday night, February 13 at Volusia with a $10,000 to win World of Outlaws Late Model Series show.
February 11, 2010 - The Chris Madden Racing (CMR) team showed back up at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida tonight for round four of the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals.' Chris Madden timed in fifteenth quickest in World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying and later ran second in his stacked heat race. After starting ninth in the $10,000 to win feature event, Chris retired early from the 50-lap main event in the twenty-fifth position.
SUPER BOWL OF RACING VI RESULTS
January 28-30, 2010January 30, 2010 - Chris Madden and his #44 team have left the Golden Isles Speedway and will not compete in the $12,000 to win 'Super Bowl of Racing' finale tonight. The team experienced a myriad of mechanical troubles in practice early in the week and in last night's $10,000 to win show. Their next events are scheduled to be the 'Florida DIRTcar Nationals' at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida from February 11-13.
January 29, 2010 - Night two of the annual 'Super Bowl of Racing' was held tonight at the Golden Isles Speedway and a $10,000 top prize was on the line. Chris Madden qualified twenty-seventh quickest in time trials and later ran fifth in his competitive heat race. He later took a Southern All Stars provisional to gain access into the A-Main where he wound up twenty-second in the finishing order.
January 28, 2010 - The Chris Madden Racing (CMR) team kicked off their 2010 campaign tonight at the Golden Isles Speedway in Brunswick, Georgia! Chris Madden timed in tenth fastest in SAS qualifying and later ran fourth in his heat race. After starting fourteenth on the grid in the $7,500 to win feature event, Chris picked up five spots in the 40-lapper to finish ninth in the final rundown.
