SUPER BOWL OF RACING NIGHTLY RESULTS
February 5, 2016 - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series officially kicked off their 2016 racing season tonight with their first points battle of the year in the Georgia Boot 'Super Bowl of Racing' at Golden Isles (GA) Speedway and a $10,000 top prize was on the line. Chris Madden knocked down the third quickest time in Group B during qualifying and later placed second in his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the third row in the 50-lap feature event, Chris was inside of the top five early when he unfortunately broke a crank trigger. After temporarily losing power and dropping back to mid-pack, Chris was able to re-fire and proceeded to storm back to grab fifth at the checkers. The Gray Court, South Carolina star trailed only winner Josh Richards, Brandon Sheppard, Jonathan Davenport, and Jared Landers!
February 4, 2016 - Due to heavy rain, tonight's opener to the Georgia Boot 'Super Bowl of Racing' at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia has been postponed until Saturday afternoon, February 6. The $7,000 to win 'Edwin Coggins Memorial' will start with hot laps at 11:00am and will proceed Saturday evening's weekend finale at GIS, which boasts a $15,000 payday. Things will now kick off in the Peach State on Friday with the regularly scheduled $10,000 to win Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series shootout. November 22, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) wrapped up their 2015 racing season in style over the November 20-21 weekend, as they emerged victorious in the annual 'Gobbler' at Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee! On Friday night, Chris Madden posted the fifth fastest lap in Southern Nationals Bonus Series qualifying prior to scoring the victory in heat race action. After drawing the outside of the front row for the start of Saturday's 77-lap main event, Chris blasted to the lead at the drop of the green flag and paced the stout field throughout the entire distance. At the checkers, "Smokey" was able to best Dale McDowell, Randy Weaver, Chase Junghans, and Mike Marlar to pocket the $10,000 payday for his seventh triumph of 2015! CMR VICTORIOUS AT BOYD'S FOR $5K!
November 15, 2015 - Chris Madden, of Gray Court, South Carolina, notched his sixth feature victory of the 2015 campaign on Saturday evening, November 14 at Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia! After posting the second fastest lap in Group B during Southern Nationals Bonus Series qualifying, Chris won the dash to earn the pole position for the 50-lap 'Turkey Throwdown.' He then swapped the top spot a couple of different times with Dale McDowell early in the race before grabbing the point for good on lap 29. "Smokey" went on to bag the $5,000 top prize at the Chattanooga-area facility by beating McDowell, Jimmy Owens, Jason Hiett, and Shane Clanton to the checkers! MADDEN ON PODIUM IN WORLD FINALS!
November 9, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) traveled to the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina from November 5-8 for the annual running of the 'World of Outlaws World Finals.' Things kicked off at the 4/10-mile speedplant on Thursday night with two rounds of World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying. Chris Madden clicked off the fastest lap in Group A for Friday's program and the fourth quickest time in Group B for Saturday's shootout.
On Friday night in the Charlotte area, Chris won his heat race prior to drawing the sixth starting spot in the $12,000 to win weekend opener. The Gray Court, South Carolina star was then able to move past three competitors during the shortened 30-lapper on his way to a sterling third place effort behind only victor Brandon Sheppard and runner-up Shane Clanton. Following a rain-out on Saturday evening, another $12,000 top prize was on the line on Sunday afternoon. Chris once again won his heat race, led the first ten circuits of the 50-lap headliner, and settled for another third place performance behind only winner Jonathan Davenport and runner-up Darrell Lanigan. November 1, 2015 - Chris Madden and his #44 team stormed into the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama on Saturday, October 31 for the 41st edition of the 'National 100.' The unsanctioned Super Late Model special at EAMS once again boasted a hefty $20,000 payday. Chris, who won Friday's Race of Champions, clicked off the second fastest lap during time trials prior to taking the victory in his heat race. October 25, 2015 - Chris Madden racked up his fifth 'Blue/Gray 100' title over the October 23-24 weekend at the nearby Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina! Chris laid down the quickest lap in his group during Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series qualifying and later ran second in his heat race. After starting Saturday's 100-lapper from the inside of the third row, Chris overtook leader Don O'Neal on a lap 84 restart to grab the point and led the remainder of the distance to pocket the $12,000 payday. October 18, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) ventured south to Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia on October 16-17 for a pair of $4,000 to win Ultimate Super Late Model Series shootouts. On Friday night, Chris Madden set Fast Time of the 24 entrants during qualifying, led lap one of the 40-lap main event, and eventually recorded a strong runner-up performance behind only victor Montana Dudley. CHRIS MADDEN SEVENTH IN WORLD 100
September 13, 2015 - Chris Madden Racing (CMR) made the yearly September pilgrimage to the hallowed 1/2-mile oval of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on September 10-12 for the 45th edition of the 'World 100.' The three-day crown jewel spectacular started with a pair of Twin 25 preliminary programs, each of which paid $5,000 to the winner. On Thursday night, Chris Madden piloted his new Longhorn racecar to a second place finish in his heat race prior to blasting all the way up to fourth in the 25-lapper to trail only winner Dale McDowell, Darrell Lanigan, and Mike Marlar at the checkers. In Friday's show at Eldora, which was pushed back to Saturday afternoon due to persistent rain showers, Chris ran third in his heat race and twelfth in the 25-lap daytime main event.
When the stakes were raised on Saturday evening, a huge throng of fans turned out for the 45th Annual 'World 100,' which boasted a whopping $48,000 top prize. Chris won his stacked heat race over R.J. Conley and Steve Francis and later started the 100-lap headliner from the outside of the third row. The Gray Court, South Carolina ace raced hard for a top five spot early in the distance before eventually settling for a solid seventh place effort.
